Made of ceramics, designed to open Pita bread by pressing it on both sides, so that it’s comfortable to apply spreads and fill it up with vegetables using just one hand! It can also hold the Pita upright between bites.

This is the second stage in the development of the pita-opener. The first stage was a joint work with the student Lior Elgali, as part of a FIXPERTS project, in which we developed the pita-opener specifically for Yoav Valinsky, an Olympic swimmer in the Paralympic Games, who cannot perform fine motor skills with his right hand.
